Why align? “The uterus is the woman’s center. If her uterus is not in proper position and good health, nothing in her life will be right. She will be as out of balance as her uterus.” – Don Elijio Panti, The Great Maya Shaman
The uterus weighs about four ounces when you’re not menstruating and can double in size to eight to ten ounces right before and during your period. That’s a lot of extra weight on your rectum, bladder, blood vessels or nerves, depending on which way your uterus is tipped. So, imagine the added weight on the internal organs from a mal- positioned uterus during pregnancy! Having an aligned uterus also ensures a better flow of nourishment to the uterus and growing baby.
“How can a healthy fruit grow on a sick vine whose nutrients and water has been consistently poor? There are multiple factors to be considered during pregnancy that determines the health of the infant. A major contributing cause to weak newborns, is a weak undernourished uterus.”- Dr Rosita Arvigo
In this hour you will learn about proper pelvic position for uterine health and how to do a vaginal steam at home. You will also learn about the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy™ (ATMAT) and how it can help women from preconception through postpartum. You don’t need to have a tipped uterus to benefit from these nourishing techniques. Anyone who would like to learn how to better care for their womb and build a positive connection with their body will benefit.
Symptoms relieved with ATMAT and pelvic alignment: painful periods, PMS, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, infertility, miscarriages, painful intercourse, incontinence, low back pain, difficult menopause, digestive problems and pelvic congestion.
Pre-registration is required. To register call Barbara at 503-341-0663.
