Today I turn 46. I made it my goal to be healthier and stronger than the year before. Last year I accomplished the unassisted pull-ups (see me doing a pull-up without pooping my pants HERE).

My first year of weight training. That’s my mom holding my cigarette and coaching me on while I drink my protein shake. Gosh, I wish we knew back then how bad High Chairs were for the body!!!

This year I’ve transitioned to a no furniture home to give my body a chance to increase my joint ranges of motion and lower body strength. I’ve been awake for 30 minutes and have already naturally done 10 squats getting up and down off the floor just because furniture no longer meets my butt halfway.
