I have been making these alignment and movement suggestions to my clients for some time and the ones who actually make the changes in their daily habits report seeing an improvement in their bowel movements, decreased bloating, backache and menstrual pain.
The abdominal therapies and Functional Methods I offer are wonderful for addressing the ailments listed above, but your participation in making movement changes is crucial. For instance, if someone comes in to see me with a retroverted uterus and I help to correct the uterine position manually and then that person goes back to work and spends the bulk of the day sitting in the same position that may have contributed to the retroversion, it makes recovery an uphill battle.
