I also own the mini BioMat (17″ x 33″) that I use at home to either sleep, stretch and relax on (I actually have it against my back right now as I write this). I’ve always wanted radiant floor heating, but this is even better because I can move the BioMat to where I want it, plus I get the addition of far infrared rays and negative ions. I feel like a cat basking in the sun.
My foster kittens love it as well. That’s the mini BioMat with its cover draped over a chair. Chickpea took it over as soon as I got up.

My personal experience using the BioMat has been a reduction in stress, warmth on cold nights, and relief from back pain. It’s amazing how quickly it has worked for my tense back and shoulder muscles. I usually get relief within 10-15 minutes on the Biomat. I’ve also slept with it at the foot of my bed to put my feet on when I had an ankle injury or to warm my cold feet. I use the BioMat on high when I feel like I may be getting sick. In fact, you can crank the Biomat up to the highest level with one of those emergency blankets and use it as a sauna. The heat range is from No Heat (just negative ions for mood enhancement and mental alertness) to 158 degrees Fahrenheit (for colds, flu, pain, and stress). And a range of other temperatures for specific needs. Read more about settings here. I have the mini on the lowest level (104 degrees) during sleep and around 113 or 122 for relaxing and pain relief. It actually gets pretty toasty at 122 and seems to be a favorite with most clients.

The mini can be on a chair (it conforms easily to fit in on a chair), the floor or on a bed. It can even be used in a car using an inverted that you can pick up at an auto supply store.
