In katy s video the wind gets in the way and there is one detail that is blown away by the wind:). She says when the angle between shin and foot decreases smth happens tp quads and smth else… could you please clarify. Thanks much
Katy is saying that when the angle between the ankle and shin decreases (basically, when the knees move forward toward or beyond the toes), you will be using less of the butt and more quads. The point of doing the squat here is to use more glutes and less quads.
Thanks Barbara much. In general can one state that when the angle decreases such as in yoga s classical chair pose it is quads strengthening vs this version which is glutes? And then there is the low chair where belly is on thighs, thighs parallel to the floor, ankle angle decreased not sure which muscle group works harder in this one.
